Peter delivers high quality long lasting dental treatment and has a friendly manner which helps put nervous patients at ease. He discusses all treatment options to help his patients make the right decision on the best route forwards.

He is able to provide reconstruction of heavily worn and damaged teeth with a combination of cosmetic, restorative, orthodontic and implant options. He is a certified Invisalign provider for clear aligner orthodontic treatment. When required he is able to combine a blend of orthodontic tooth movement with cosmetic dentistry to deliver beautiful smiles for his patients. These techniques are now widely recognised as the most up-to-date way to enhance a smile with minimal impact on the lifespan of the dentition.

In 2007 Peter achieved a distinction level pass on the four year long UCL Diploma in Implant Dentistry and won the overall prize for Outstanding Achievement in his year group. He is highly trained in the surgical placement of single or multiple implants to replace one or more missing teeth. He is also able to stabilise poor functioning loose dentures with dental implants.

After graduating from Bristol University in 1998, Peter spent five years working as a trainee Oral Surgeon in various hospitals in the South West of England including local specialist teams based at Poole General, Royal Bournemouth and Dorchester Hospitals. He spent two years studying for his postgraduate dental surgical examinations (MFDS) and published four scientific papers in peer-reviewed international dental journals. During this time, he also gained considerable experience working alongside specialists at Bristol Dental Hospital. In 2003 he moved to general dental practice, he joined Hoburne Dental Practice in 2005 and became a partner at the practice a year later.

Following his hospital training Peter went on to advance his cosmetic, restorative and implant skills with seven years of part time study at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute. During this period, he was taught directly by some of London's leading dental specialists, completing the Certificate Course in Restorative Dental Practice along with further studies in the fields of Applied Clinical Dental Materials and Partial Denture Prosthetics. The study period culminated in 2011 with a distinction grade on the Diploma in Implant Dentistry. In 2014 Peter passed the Fellowship Diploma examination of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners.

Peter is married to Susan who teaches locally, and they are both kept busy with three children. He enjoys keeping fit and exploring the local countryside.
